Getting started & matches

How does Goodweds work?

Create your profile and tell us what matters to you—values, interests, and preferences. Our AI pairs you with carefully vetted profiles. If both of you are interested, it’s a match and you can start a private chat.

How many matches do I get in a day?

There isn’t a fixed limit. We show you the most relevant profiles first based on compatibility and your preferences. Quality over quantity, always.

Is chatting free after we match?

Yes. Once there’s a mutual match, you can chat for free. Some premium features are optional and available via subscriptions.

Do I need a subscription to use Goodweds?

No. You can create a profile, get matches, and chat after a mutual match for free. Subscriptions are optional and unlock premium features for people who want extra convenience and visibility or unlock more chats

What plans are available?

We currently offer monthly and quarterly plans. Both include priority placement in recommendations, advanced filters, “who viewed your profile”, unlock more chats and weekly highlights for better discovery. Exact pricing may vary by region and promotions shown in-app.

How do I subscribe or upgrade?

Open the Goodweds app → Profile → Settings → Current Plan. Pick a plan and complete the purchase via your app store or our secure payment gateway (where available).

How do renewals work?

Our Plans do not auto-renew by default so you don’t charged untill and unless you really need them.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

You can cancel auto-renew at any time. Refunds follow the policies of your app store and local laws. If you believe there’s an error, contact support with your order ID and we’ll help.

What’s included in premium vs free?

- Free: profile creation, daily recommendations, mutual-match chat (up to 2 ), safety features. - Premium: advanced filters (e.g., lifestyle, education), priority placement, weekly highlights, read receipts, and “who viewed your profile. Unlimited chats”

Managing your account

How do I update my email address?

Go to Settings → Account → Email to change your email and verify the new one.

How do I change my phone number?

Go to Settings → Account → Phone and follow the verification steps to update your number.

How do I verify my profile?

Tap your profile picture → Verify. Complete a quick selfie and ID check. This helps keep Goodweds authentic and safe for everyone.

Requests & chats

How many connection requests can I send?

We encourage thoughtful requests. If your requests are frequently reported or look spammy, we may temporarily limit your ability to send more.

I don’t see the option to send a request

If a user has restricted requests from you (e.g., after a report), you won’t be able to send them a new request. They can still reach out to you if they choose.

I can’t log in to my account

Safety & policies

Why was my account suspended?

We suspend accounts that violate our community guidelines (e.g., harassment, misleading identity, or unsafe behavior). If you think this was a mistake, write to hello@goodweds.com from your registered email with details.
